Cade's 3rd grade musical

Cade had his 3rd grade musical last Thursday. It was all about sports, I think it was called Get In the Game. This little munchkin below made it more difficult for me to enjoy it like I did Maddi's last year. She was pretty squirmy, but did well overall and lasted the whole time without too much fuss.

Cade is 3rd from the end on the top row. They were introducing the 3rd grade teachers and his class was clapping for their teacher, Mr. Struck. Even though it's a blurry picture, I like how they all look so happy.

It was hard to get pictures of Cade from where we were at, so we have more of Emalyn than of Cade. The pictures we do have of Cade are pretty much the same picture over and over.

We finally got a picture of Cade looking at us. He was so serious and paying attention to what he was supposed to be doing so most of our pictures are from the side of him standing like a statue or singing, and the singing ones were blurry because they do motions to the songs.

Here's more of a group shot. Cade had to dress like a golfer because his special part in the play was to act like he's golfing during the PGA golf song. He didn't want a speaking part or a solo. He was a great golf actor, but we didn't get pictures because we took video instead. Brett did the video and I was on Emalyn patrol, so no pictures. Maddi took off and sat on the front row with other siblings, so she couldn't help much either. Oh well. I loved hearing Cade sing the songs for the weeks prior to the performance. Sometimes he'd be up in his room singing all the songs practicing and it brought a smile to my face. There's something so sweet about little kids voices singing.

More pics of Miss Thing. Her teeth are bothering her, about to get her incisors.

Why do little babies love to look in peoples mouths? Nasty, if you ask me. We were all very proud of Cade and the whole 3rd grade in their performance.
