Super Bowl

When my sweet friend, Leslie, came to visit this summer she brought Cade an Arizona Cardinals cap because she now lives in Arizona. It was perfect for Cade to wear for the Super Bowl! We rooted for the Cardinals, but they couldn't pull it off. We went to a neighbors for a party and we ate way too many snacks, pizza, and desserts. It was fun and the kids were very interested in seeing if they were winning any of the money in the squares they bet on. None of us won the squares, but Brettley won another special bets contest. He had to guess the coin flip, first team to score, how they would score, etc. Way to go! I can't figure out why they have the Super Bowl on Sunday evening. We all decided that they need to change it to Saturday or earlier in the day Sunday or declare Monday a holiday. We are too old to stay up late eating and drinking on a Sunday night! Another fun weekend down. We leave Friday for California and Disneyland!
