The kids make us laugh all the time. Some of the funny things from this weekend:
We went to lunch at the Cheesecake Factory. Cade decided not to have cheesecake because he was really in the mood for lettuce. He wanted a sandwhich with ham, turkey, cheese and lettuce. He also wanted a salad. This is so not Cade. His body must have really been craving some veggies or something, although lettuce isn't much of a veggie. Anyway, as were waiting for our food, he kept thinking he smelled lettuce and would get all excited thinking about eating his lettuce. Today we went to Subway and he opted not to get lettuce because he has had his fill of lettuce. Odd.
Maddi was reading the menu for cheesecake and she thought it was so gross that there was "low crab" cheesecake. It was low "carb" but we agreed that low crab would be pretty nasty. I'm a fan of many flavors of cheesecake, but crab is not one I would want to try.
Emma moved up to the 2 year old class at Sunday School today. When we went to pick her up, they gave us a page with songs for her to practice for the Christmas program at church. In the car, Maddi was singing the songs and told Emma to sing Christmas Bells with her. Emma said "No Christmas Bells" with her grumpy face. We are all very excited to see Emma perform in the Christmas program in a few weeks. We can't wait to see if she will sing the songs or pout, or cry or what. She's getting so Big!
