New Things

Emalyn is almost 4 months old so we broke out some "new things" for her to explore. She likes the exercauser but only for short amounts of time.

She was mezmerized by the butterfly.

Cade has been asking for several weeks if we could get out her highchair so she could sit with us at the table. We finally got it out and the kids were so excited. Maddi and I put it together, which impressed Brett. Ha! Here she is trying it out for grins.

This little girl is definitely loved by her older brother and sister. It's so funny because Cade was asking for a long time for Emalyn to sleep in her crib and he was so excited when she finally did. Now he's been asking for her to sit in her highchair and he was thrilled that we got it out. Emalyn sat in her chair yesterday while the kids were doing homework at the table. She discovered her toes and was grabbing them and it was so fun to see the kids pure excitement for her new discovery.

On another note, when I took Emalyn to the dr. for her lung/ear check they said she has torticollis and she will need physical therapy. Basically, she doesn't hold her head straight, but more to the side so we'll have to learn some neck stretches. I told the kids about it and they are already trying to help her with it and making sure when they talk to her they go to the side that she doesn't like to turn her head to.
