Family Fun

We have enjoyed having some family time while the kids are on Winter Break. Brett has had some days off and even the days he's worked, he has gotten home earlier because traffic is much lighter. We've gone to movies, played with friends, played games together as a family, and just enjoyed a more laid back style. It all ends tomorrow as the kids go back to school. Part of me is ready to get back to our normal routine of craziness, but it's been nice having some down time together. I put Emma's hair in a pony tail at dinner one night, but Emma was being silly and wouldn't let me get a picture.

Here's the back of the pony. Her little curls are so cute. Sometimes I feel bad for her that her hair is curly because she'll probably want straight hair, but for now it's so cute.

These two girls are bffs. They are lucky to have each other.

Maddi put Emma in dress up clothes one night and I couldn't believe she's old/big enough to wear some of them. It seems like yesterday that Miss Maddi was just wearing those dresses. I am so glad that I hung on to them over the years. Cade's just being Cade in this picture.

We've had quite a few games of ping pong over the break. Maddi and Cade are getting pretty good.

Maddi was practicing being a photographer and took a ton of pictures of us. Right now Maddi wants to be a special education teacher, photographer and front desk person when she grows up.
