Friday Fun

Friday Maddi danced at noon. I took the kids with me on the jogging trail and then we had a nice lazy morning at the hotel. These two girls are bffs!

Most days Maddi and I would ride with another family to the convention center and then Brett would come later with Emma and Cade. He showed up with Emalyn wearing her shirt backwards this day! It was so funny.

That's the tag in the front there that Brett is looking at. It confuses him because the tags are usually printed on clothes and this shirt had an ice cream cone on the front and writing on the back. He thought the writing went on the front. Gotta love Daddies! Cade said he knew it was backwards but wanted him to leave it like that so I would see it. Not sure I believe that story, Cade Man.

On this day Maddi had their jazz dance with the whole company.

This was the last dance for everyone in the regular competition. They were having a group pep talk before they went on.

We left Maddi at dance while we went for some yummy Mexican food again at Abuelos. We got back just in time for awards only to find out we had missed awards. Good thing Maddi stayed there! They ended up getting a crystal award and got first place overall for Teen Super groups. This meant we had to stay all day Saturday for them to dance again in the finals! I love how Maddi has the number one sign up. She's on the far right on the bottom.

After all that excitment, we went back to the hotel for our last swim. Emalyn is a little fish and loves the water. You can see her hair is actually pretty long but it curls up to nothing, especially in the humidity!

In the baby pool, she would squat down and then pop up out of the water. Too cute.

Why do my kids stick out their tongues to concentrate?

Even more cuteness. She would jump in the pool and climb out over and over. She stopped to give Bubba a kiss before jumping in again.

Two cuties and one with a crazy tongue! She probably jumped in to Brett over 100 times. She's a nut and loves the water just like her big brother.

She found Daddy's golf club and drug it all around the room. It was another fun day in Myrtle Beach but it was time to pack up because we were heading back to Illinois the next day.
