Saying Goodbye

June 29th was a day none of us were looking forward to. It was the day our favorite neighbors moved out. They are moving to Prosper, TX, in the Dallas area and we will get to see them in a few weeks when we visit our other friends and family in the Dallas area. We decided we weren't saying goodbye, we would just say "we'll see you later". The kids spent a lot of time together before they left and the "see you later" went much better than I ever expected. I think it helped that we were at the pool and we were leaving so Maddi could get to dance. None of us were home when they actually pulled away so we didn't have to see them leave.
These little cutie pies were becoming great friends and Emma asked for Ellie (calling her eye-a) all the time.

Anne was a great friend and neighbor and I will miss her dearly. I'm curious to see what she thinks of Dallas.

We tried but never got a picture of both of them looking at the camera. Oh well...

This makes me laugh looking at the next few pictures. Emma loves the slide and she climbs up herself and sits down but will not slide without holding my hand. She stood at the top of the slide yelling "mama" over and over as each of these kids moved in front of her and went down the slide without their "mama".

"Mama!" Help me slide, please.

Love those baby cheeks hanging out of Miss Things suit!

Andrew, Ellie and Emma playing together.

We look forward to seeing this sweet family again soon in Dallas. We are curious to see how long it takes for Emalyn to stop asking for Eye-a all the time :)
